A softer approach to midlife abundance, aligned business, and becoming the woman you’re meant to be.

Hi, I’m Claier Bullerwell.
Becoming Her is where I write about the quieter work of reconnecting with yourself in midlife, re-imagining your life, and creating a gentler, more supported next chapter.
If we were sitting together over tea, I’d probably tell you this:
I never expected to be re-examining my identity, work, and sense of direction in my fifties.
But that’s exactly what happened, and it turned out to be the most grounded and meaningful season of my life so far.
I’ve been writing online since 2003, long before algorithms and social platforms shaped how voices were heard. Back then, it was simply a way to think on the page and share what I was learning in real time.
Over the past three decades, I’ve started more than a dozen home-based businesses, from offline services to online shops, digital products, and authority websites.
Some worked beautifully. Some didn’t. Some I loved. Others taught me quickly what wasn’t for me.
What stayed consistent through all of it was the quiet thread of identity, how women change as their lives evolve, and how success, freedom, and abundance take on different meanings in midlife.
In my fifties, that thread became impossible to ignore.
I found myself questioning ideas I’d once accepted about work, worth, and achievement. I returned to manifestation with fresh eyes, not as something mystical or performative, but as an exploration of identity, belief, and self-concept.
I read widely, studied deeply, and gradually began to trust what I was learning because it made sense both psychologically and experientially.
The shifts that followed weren’t dramatic or flashy. They were subtle, steady, and deeply personal. Less about becoming someone new, and more about returning to who I already was.
This space is where I write about that process: identity shifts in midlife, reinvention without urgency, gentle ways of earning, and building a life that feels calm, aligned, and supportive.
No hustle.
No pressure.
No guru energy.
Just lived experience, reflection, and the kind of perspective that comes from trying, failing, beginning again, and finding your way back to yourself.
If you’re a woman over 50 who feels a quiet pull toward a softer, more intentional way of living and earning, you’re very welcome here.
You’re not starting over.
You’re starting to align.

A Gentle Timeline of How I Got Here
Sometimes it helps to see a life laid out simply, not as achievements, but as seasons.
This is a quiet look back at how my relationship with work, identity, and self-trust has evolved over time.
1997
I bought my first home computer and started a small typing business from my living room. I had no idea then that it would open the door to decades of working from home, or how deeply it would shape my sense of independence.
2003
I began blogging, long before it became a strategy or a career path. At the time, it was simply a place to think out loud, share what I was learning, and explore ideas through writing.
Mid-2000s
I experimented with direct sales and network marketing, including Herbalife and Kleeneze. Some aspects worked, others didn’t, but the experience taught me a great deal about people, motivation, and resilience.
Late 2000s
I opened and ran a domestic cleaning business, employing two wonderful cleaners while managing the business behind the scenes. It was my first experience of building something that operated beyond just me.
2010–2014
I immersed myself in the online world. I ran an eBay plus-size clothing store called SheekCurves, built niche and authority websites, and explored early online marketing systems. It was a period of curiosity, experimentation, and learning what suited me, and what didn’t.
2015–2020
I began writing and selling ebooks and Kindle books, creating digital products, and continuing to explore gentler ways of earning from home. Writing slowly became less about output and more about expression.
My forties
I was first introduced to manifesting. At the time, it felt too abstract and too “woo” for my practical nature, so I didn’t pursue it deeply. Still, the idea stayed with me.
My fifties
Everything shifted. I realised I needed to understand identity, belief, and manifestation on a level I could trust. I studied widely, explored both the psychological and conceptual aspects, and finally felt something settle into place. Not dramatically, but quietly and steadily.
2025
I rebranded this space as Becoming Her, a calm, reflective home for women over 50 who want to reconnect with themselves, explore gentler ways of living and earning, and step into the next chapter of life with clarity and self-trust.
